We have added the option to change your organization's date and time formatting: you can now choose between 24-hour clock and 12-hour clock display, and several date formats. If you have alternative formats you would prefer to use, please let us know! These settings apply across your organization, and can be configured by administrators on the organization's settings page.

Date and time formats for organizations
In addition, we now provide several new options for creating activity reports. Any search on the activities page can be saved to a PDF or CSV file, and the checks page includes the option to save a comprehensive history of your organization's activity history. The "Export Check History" option on the checks page will generate an archive of CSV files detailing the activities processed by CheckCentral over the selected period.

Check history export configuration
We also made some adjustments to subscription management to simplify changing your subscription level and added support for payments with American Express cards. If you have feedback or questions about these updates or any aspect of CheckCentral, please get in touch!

FileSeek has many different settings that can be tweaked to help you get the best out of your search results. In this guide, we'll go over the two most common scenarios for searching, and the options that you should enable to make them work.
Searching for file and folder names only
- On the Advanced tab, make sure that the following options are enabled:
- Search sub-folders
- Show file names that match the "include files" filter
- Show folder names that match the "include files" filter

Searching for File Names (Advanced Tab)
- On the Search tab:
- Click "Browse" next to the Path(s) field, and choose the folder that you want to search. You can also search network shares by entering their UNC paths, like this:
\\servername\sharename\foldername
- In the Include Files field, enter the text you want to search for in the file/folder names. For example, if you want to search for all files and folders with "golf" in the name, enter the following:
*golf*
- Leave the Query field empty
- Click the Search button and you will start to see results showing up in the bottom pane while the search is being performed.

Searching for File Names (Search Tab)
Searching in the contents of files
- On the Advanced tab, make sure that the following options are enabled:
- Search sub-folders
- Process file contents using File Handlers
- Show file names that match the "include files" filter
- Show folder names that match the "include files" filter

Searching for File Contents (Advanced Tab)
- On the Search tab:
- Click "Browse" next to the Path(s) field, and choose the folder that you want to search.
- In the Include Files field, you can specify which file types should be searched. For example, if you want to search in the contents of PDF, text, and Word documents, enter the following:
*.pdf|*.txt|*.doc|*.docx
- In the Query field, enter the text you want to search for. For example, to find all files with "golf" in the contents of the file, just enter
golf
. The Query box uses our custom text query syntax, which allows the use of operators to include and exclude words.
- Click the Search button and you will start to see results showing up in the bottom pane while the search is being performed.

Searching for File Contents (Search Tab)
- Note: If you see results that say there's no file handler for the file, you will need to install a third-party file handler/iFilter for that file type. We have a list of common ones here: Known Working File Handlers in FileSeek.
As always, if you run into any issues, or have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us!
