Hello,

I bought Voicebot on Steam, and it works awful.

I added some profiles for Rainbow Six Vegas and Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

When i say a word like "go" it's hard to recognizes what's said and when it's said it shows "Action Ignored:Voicebot focused"

And also it recognizes another words i added in my game profile, but that i didn't spoke such as "move down", just by breathing
through my mouth.

The keypress for "go" is Spacebar,
and the keypress for "move down" is N.

One thing that annoys is for example, when i breathe from my mouth it shows the "n" letter in microsoft word, in wordpad or in any browser like firefox or explorer.

My headset is a Razer Kraken USB, and i tried to configure this microfone and other headset that is Logitech h555 and nothing.

Waiting your help

Thanks for the feedback! I'll do my best to help out here:

  • The "Action Ignored:Voicebot focused" message: This shows up because VoiceBot is the focused window. So this tells you that the command was recognized, but it doesn't actually execute the command to avoid errant input on the VoiceBot window.
  • Commands executing on other windows, like Notepad: In your profile, if you click the Optional link (just below Profile Name),
you can specify the game's EXE, so that the commands will only execute if the game has focus.
  • Poor speech recognition quality: VoiceBot uses the Microsoft Speech Recognition engine, so we have very little control over this, unfortunately. The only things I can recommend here are to make sure there's as little background noise as possible, and also click the Speech Setup link on the VoiceBot Settings > Options tab. The Speech Recognition control panel should open, and you can try the "Train your computer to better understand you" option to help improve its matching to your voice.

Hope that helps!
