After this new update, my activation button -which is Pause- next to Scroll button stopped working. I re-set it again from the options and then I realized, regardless of the button I set it, that shortcut setting is not working at all. This was a fundamental part of my usage of VoiceBot so a hotfix should do a lot for people like me :'(

Notes:
-Windows 11 with all updates on
-Tried starting VoiceBot as admin etc.
-No new software added recently

Are you referring to the "VoiceBot Pause/Start Hotkey" setting?

Yes that button where you use a common hotkey for pausing and starting

Could you send me a debug log? Here are the steps:

 
  • On the VoiceBot Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Here I attached the log. Btw, After I do that, it started working -at least for right now-. I wonder if this process solved the issue by saving settings or rewriting something.

Hello again,

The issue is back. I restarted the computer and clicked on the shortcut and it disabled the listening mode as intended and when I keep pushing the button, it stopped reacting and become unavailable to switch back and forth between modes and stayed in red icon (not listening mode). This is what happened in the past too. First works then stops responding.

It doesn't look like there are any errors in the log. When you tried different hotkeys, did they all use the Pause button or were they completely different?

Yes, I tried changing it to something with a modifier (Shift + X) or with just one completely different key etc. All acted the same. Btw, My keyboard is in Turkish just in case the encoding or non-latin layout is a possibility for error.

I tested with a Turkish keyboard here and it still seemed to work. Can you confirm rolling back fixes the issue? You can grab an older version here: https://www.voicebot.net/OldVersion/

I can confirm that it works in the previous version because I have it installed on another computer without any issues.

Could you send me over a backup of your settings? You can grab them via the VoiceBot Settings Window > General > Export Settings
