How do you Toggle mouse buttons?

I just got the program and I was setting up the script. I noticed you can toggle keys but I didn't see any way to toggle mouse buttons to set up an aim voice command. I know you could work around it by having a separate voice command to release the mouse button or just change it to a key but I figured I would ask. I'm sure it's possible, I just can't find it

There should be a way to do this using a Macro Script. I'll pass this along to one of our devs and he'll whip up an example when he has some free time.

I put together an example script that should work for you. It presses the left mouse button, waits one second, then releases it. You could even split this script up into two parts to have a VoiceBot Macro toggle the a mouse button any way you like. Here's how to get it into VoiceBot:

  • Download the file attached to this post
  • Open the VoiceBot Settings window to the "Profiles" tab
  • Open the Profile you would like to edit
  • Open to the Macro you would like to edit to bring up the "Edit Macro" window
  • In the "Actions" section, click "Add"->"Custom Macro Script"
  • Copy the contents of the file you downloaded in the first step into the window
  • Click OK on all of the windows to save and apply your changes

I hope this works for you!

Thanks for the reply. Looking at this script as you said it would hold down the left mouse button and release it after one second. So if I were to chop the second half of the script off (the wait 1000ms and release)and change this to the right mouse button how would I make it toggle with the same voice phrase? or does the toggle need to be scripted Or does this program turn the script on and off when the phrase is spoken again? Sorry to be interrogating you with questions, lol. With the other program I use the command would just be this: toggle(mouse.rightbutton)=said("aim") but this one seems a bit more complicated.

I put together an example Profile for you to try out. It has one Macro, "Aim", that will toggle the right mouse button on and off for you. Here's how to get it into VoiceBot:

  • Download the file attached to this post
  • Open the VoiceBot Settings window to the "Profies" tab
  • Click the "Import" button and select the file you downloaded in the first step
  • Optionally view the Macro to see how it works
  • Click OK on all of the windows to save and apply your changes

I hope this works for you!
