But it doesn't work. I always get this message even though I am holding down the push-to-talk key (Middle Mouse Click)

Yeah, no other mouse buttons nor keyboard keys work.
Uninstalling/installing didn't help

When I try to import the profile, i get Failed to load profile error

OK, this one did import.
I switched to it, said the command, and it typed out Tt.
Then, I enabled PPT key in config, and after holding down the key and saying the command, it still says "Action Ignored: Push to Talk hotkey not held"

I am having the same issue. I followed all the same steps, but had a little bit different outcome...

If I hold the PTT (set as middle click, but cycled it through many different keys with no success)and use the test word and release the button, I get the action ignored msg. If I hold the PTT and wait without speaking, even for three seconds, I get the same error msg. However, if I hold the PTT down and keep repeating the command it starts working after a few repeats. It is not the same number of repeats every time, but it does work every time if I keep repeating the command. It is not reliable enough to use a pattern either so still unusable for me. I hope this helps a bit. I am really excited to start experimenting with this in action!

Upon playing more, it seems to work as long as I do not release the PTT key until after the action is fully executed. It is not a fluid motion, more slow and deliberate, but it will still be fantastic for all out of action stuff until it is tweaked, or my expectations come in line with reality.

I'm curious, have the Push to Talk issues been resolved?
I just purchased today mainly for this feature but I'm having some trouble myself.
But I have a complicated setup, so it could be something I've missed in settings.

I wanted to use a button on my Joystick (an old X-45) for the push to talk.

So I'm using JoyToKey to map a button to a keystroke, then setting the push to talk feature to the same keystroke.

I've tried different combinations of keystrokes. In all cases, I get the "action ignored, push to talk hotkey not held" message.

I'm pretty sure the JoyToKey mapping is working because I've tested it using notepad.

e.g. when JoyToKey button is mapped to the "t" key (with repeat 30 times per second) and I bring up notepad and hold down the joystick button, it repeatedly puts tttttttttt down until I let up. But, with the VoiceBot push to talk hotkey set to "T", I get the "action ignored, push to talk hotkey not held (T)" message.

Direct support for joystick buttons would probably be preferable. But I'll take any solution if someone can point out if I have a setting wrong.

that did it. Unfortunately JoyToKey doesn't appear to support key "hold", just repeat at a max of 30 times a second. But I had been looking at Pinnacle Game Profiler to get better support for the X45 mode functions and it turns out Pinnacle works quite nicely when matched with VoiceBot. got the trial version last night. I'll probably purchase a key today.

Having exact same issue, everything installed but PTT is not working, "Action Ignored: Push to Talk hotkey not held" everytime in the log. The program is constantly logging every sound i make (which I very much don't want it to do) even when I'm not touching the PTT key, but it has no effect when I'm trying to use it in program. (ARMA 3 using the downoaed ARMA 3 Apex profile).
