I'm thinking I'm going to have to use BFS.ScriptSettings.ReadValue and WriteValue to keep the state between instances of the script, then find a way to initialize the state every time the program in question starts running.

Edit: Nevermind, I see the Elite Dangerous macro set uses this for landing gear. I'll take a look at that later when I'm not so tired. ]]>
