<div class="BackGrey"><div class="Text"><div><b>Quote:</b></div>I run a 6-monitor setup on Windows 10 with a daemon production server that hosts our website, sunstatehvac.com. At the end of the day I turn the monitors off, and in the morning when they power back on Windows tends to move windows and tabs all over the place, which is why I purchased DisplayFusion about 3 weeks ago and finally recently installed it.<br/>
<br/>
At first everything seemed to be working fine. However, during a Google Workspace MX/Gmail activation/setup process, I clicked a CONFIRM button and at that exact moment several strange things happened simultaneously:<br/>
<br/>
* Redis immediately began shutting down on its CMD window<br/>
* I lost control of several open windows/tabs<br/>
* Some application windows disappeared entirely<br/>
* General desktop/window instability occurred<br/>
<br/>
Although I was able to recover after a restart, the timing was concerning enough that I’m hesitant to reinstall DisplayFusion until I better understand what may have happened.<br/>
<br/>
I realize the Google Workspace action itself may not have directly caused the issue, but the event occurred at the exact same moment and only after DisplayFusion had been installed.<br/>
<br/>
If anyone has experienced similar multi-monitor/window-management instability, especially involving server processes, disappearing windows, or tab/session issues, I’d appreciate hearing about it.<br/>
<br/>
Best,<br/>

contact@sunstatehvac.com<br/>
<br/>
P.S. This system also uses mixed NVIDIA cards and mixed monitor resolutions across 6 displays, in case that helps narrow down possible causes.</div></div><br/>
<br/>
I'm curious, how do you restore the the position of your windows? Are you using a Window Position Profile ? or a custom function (which is what I do).

From time to time, DisplayFusion 12.1 Beta 2 starts using a huge amount of memory for me — around 6.5 GB RAM. Restarting it immediately drops usage back down to around 144 MB.<br/>
<br/>
I do have a trigger set up that automatically saves window positions before Windows locks itself (after 280 seconds idle), along with a few other small things, but nothing extraordinary or particularly heavy.<br/>
<br/>
The issue seems to happen fairly often over time. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar or if there’s something specific I should check.

Hi there,<br/>
<br/>
I've been using Display Fusion for a few years and up until I recently reimaged my computer. I have a 49 inch monitor with 2 horizontal splits and use the right side "1.2" as the default task bar. This had been working fine until I reimaged. Setting this up on a new image Windows 11, Split monitoring displays "1.1" for left and "1.2" for right. When I go into advanced settings/force primary monitor ID to "1.2" the default task bar continues to stay on left hand side. I've also verified in the registry that the ID is set to "1.2" Any ideas on how to resolve/workaround for this?

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, even when I enable the Match Condition and select one of my two profiles (I tried both), the trigger does not respond when I change between them.<br/>
<br/>
<i>For example:</i><br/>
With the Match Condition set to '<i>Profile 1</i>': Changing between '<i>Profile 1</i>' to '<i>Profile 2</i>', and even back to '<i>Profile 1</i>' is not causing a trigger to occur.<br/>
<br/>
Additionally, according to the documentation, the Match Condition is not a requirement for this trigger type. (https://www.displayfusion.com/HelpGuide/Triggers/)<br/>
<br/>
My end goal is to have the trigger activate whenever I change from one profile to any other profile/non-profile. I had assumed leaving the Match Condition unchecked would provide this 'catch all' for profile changes. If this is not the way the trigger works, I'd be open to adding in multiple triggers to cover each scenario, however as reflected above, I cannot get the trigger to work even with the Match Condition.
